400th anniversary of the miracle of Our Lady of the Novena
From 14 to 23 June 2024, a novena with each day devoted to one of the performing arts, ending with a solemn Mass and a procession.

On Friday 14 June the celebration of the 400th anniversary of the miracle of Our Lady of the Novena begins. The novena starts that day and ends on Sunday 23 June with a solemn Mass at 12:00, followed by a procession with the image of Our Lady through the streets of our parish.
Programme
From 14 to 21 June, after the 19:30 Mass, each day of the novena is devoted to one of the performing arts:
- 14 June: authors and playwrights
- 15 June: dance
- 16 June: music (musicians, singers and composers), musical theatre and opera
- 17 June: technical crews (technicians, producers, impresarios…)
- 18 June: circus professionals
- 19 June: professionals from every branch of film and broadcasting (voice actors, cinema, television…)
- 20 June: members of the confraternities of the parish and the Barrio de las Letras
- 21 June: audiences and lovers of the performing arts
Saturday 22 June is devoted to actors and actresses, after the traditional 12:00 Mass of the Congregation, which this year is exceptionally moved to the second-to-last Saturday of the month to be part of the celebration.
Sunday 23 June is the Great Feast of the Novena, with a solemn Mass at 12:00 and a procession.
