Who is responsible

What data this website collects
The data you give us in the forms: the contact form, registration for children’s catechesis and registration for the marriage preparation course. We also count visits without knowing who makes them (explained below). The website uses no advertising tools, and its fonts and images are served from the website itself.
What we use it for
To answer your message or process the registration you ask for, and nothing else. We only ask for the data needed for that: if a required field is missing, we cannot deal with the request. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form and can withdraw at any time.
Who receives it
Forms are not stored in any database on the website: they are sent by email to the people in the parish who deal with each matter (the parish office, the catechists or those running the courses). To deliver that email we use Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which processes it only on our behalf and within the European Union. We do not share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
For as long as needed to deal with your request and, for registrations, for as long as the catechesis or course lasts. It is then deleted, except for anything the parish must keep by legal or canonical obligation.
Other people’s data
If you register a child, you must be their parent or guardian. If you give another person’s details, such as your partner’s for the marriage preparation course, you must have their permission and tell them about this policy.
Protection against spam
The forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that they are sent by a person and not a program. To do so it analyses technical data from the browser and the connection, never for advertising.
Visitor statistics
To find out how many people visit the website and which pages they read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts visits in aggregate, without cookies and without storing anything in your browser, and does not tell us who you are. To do this, Cloudflare receives technical data about each visit (the page, the address you came from, the type of browser and the country) and processes it on our behalf. We do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used in order to improve it.
Language
To show you the website in your language, we look at the language your browser indicates when it requests the page. We do not store it or use any cookie for this.
Cookies
This website uses no cookies of its own and no advertising cookies, so we do not ask you to accept any. The only possible exception is the spam protection on the forms, which may use a technical security cookie to protect the submission: it is essential for the service you request and cannot be used to track you.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any server, it processes technical connection data, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect them against attacks.
Links to other services
Some links lead to third-party services such as Google Maps, WhatsApp or Instagram. When you open them, their own privacy policies apply. Bizum donations are made from your bank’s app: the website receives no payment data.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use or to give it to you, and you can withdraw your consent, by writing to parroquia@sansebastianatocha.com or by post to Calle de Atocha, 39, 28012 Madrid, Spain. If you think we have not handled it properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
